Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
